Led the development and dissemination of Healthier Generation’s 20th Anniversary Impact Report and national announcement, shaping narrative direction, thematic framing, and data-driven storytelling to elevate long-term impact and the role of philanthropic partnerships in advancing equitable whole child health.
Led the dissemination of national research on school-required vaccines, including a Q&A with the lead researcher and clinician. The Merck-supported study generated 48.6 million media impressions and offered insights to support on-time vaccination.
Served as communications lead and project manager for Labcorp and Healthier Generation’s Make Way for Better campaign encouraging adults to prioritize preventive care and routine screenings, successfully driving more than 10,000 campaign website visits.
Authored a Psychology Today feature on coping with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) during the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting expert insights on triggers, telehealth resources, and strategies for managing symptoms in a rapidly changing environment.
Authored a Psychology Today feature examining how videoconferencing exacerbates appearance concerns, particularly for individuals with body dysmorphic disorder, and highlighting the role of psychological support and healthy coping strategies.
Led the announcement for Healthier Generation’s 2025 America’s Healthiest Schools awards, amplifying national recognition for 1,120 schools advancing whole child health and securing broad media coverage.
Created Healthier Generation’s Ask a Doctor series, in English and Spanish, featuring content on vaccine hesitancy and misinformation, and offering practical guidance for discussing the safety and importance of routine childhood vaccinations with friends and family.
Authored a Healthier Generation blog feature spotlighting Charlotte, NC high school students who lead a produce market that expands food access, supports local families, and builds youth leadership through the Campbell’s-supported Full Futures initiative, highlighting its impact on students and the surrounding community.
Produced a Healthier Generation blog feature on a community-led food access and nutrition education initiative in Person County, North Carolina, highlighting school–community partnerships that supported families and expanded access to locally grown food.
Co-authored a St. Jude Research–published article highlighting a rural North Carolina partnership that increased HPV vaccination by 20%, elevating strategies that strengthened vaccine confidence and access.
Developed Healthier Generation’s Vaccination Resource Hub, a Merck-funded initiative designed to help protect students and families from preventable diseases by supporting schools and communities in staying up to date on routine and recommended vaccinations.
Coordinated and moderated a national panel discussion, bringing together clinical, research, and school nursing experts to share best practices for leveraging trusted messengers and school-based communication to increase childhood vaccinations.

Co-authored a Baylor College of Medicine feature reflecting on the first year of COVID-19, highlighting insights from Dr. Peter Hotez and other experts on vaccines, variants, treatments, and the path toward herd immunity and a return to normalcy.
